Sion's Mexican Restaurant Fire Relief Fund

On the early morning of June 14th, at approximately 6:00am, a fire started inside Sion's that engulfed the kitchen and caused damages to the inside of the restaurant. Luckily, firefighters were able to contain the fire to the backside of the building.

Sion's has been a part of the South bay community for over 30 years but for me, Sion's has always been my second home. Like many others, I grew up playing in the booths and eating endless bowls of their beloved salsa. Attending High school in the area, and having students and teachers come up to me regularly letting me know they knew my dad and they loved Sion's was always a strange and humbling experience but knowing who my dad is it didn't surprise me. My dad, who is always be seen with that huge smile on his face has created a huge family here at Sion's, and we hope to continue being a part of the MB family for double what we have been and more. We appreciate all of your help during this time.

At the moment, we are unsure when we will be back up and operating as reparations to our kitchen and the smoke/fire damage may halt us for a few months. Any donations will be directed toward damages and providing relief for the Sion's family while we are temporary closed.
