Emergency Fund

This is our sweet Elizabeth and her grandson, Johnny. All of you who know her, know she always has a sweet smile, a kind word, and a willingness to help. She raised two amazing sons and now, through a personal family tragedy, she is raising her only grandson. She is a dedicated and hard working mom like so many other single moms. Unfortunately, Elizabeth has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. 

In attempts to provide for a future for her grandson, she sunk her entire life savings into a new business venture. During her business formation, she discovered a large tumor on her breast. The doctors misdiagnosed the tumor, calling it a fibroid due to its enormous size. This misdiagnosis allowed the tumor to grow rapidly for nearly another year. 


On her business opening day, and after months of severe, chronic pain, she was finally correctly diagnosed with cancer. However, misfortune has followed her throughout the beginnings of treatment. Upon inserting the port, the necessary vehicle for the chemo to flow through, the doctor mistakenly collapsed her lung. She was sent home without the doctor realizing his error.

However, after a short period, she couldn’t breathe and was rushed to the ER. The ER doctor improperly inserted the breathing tube causing further damage and excruciating pain. After a weeklong stay at the hospital, she was release only to then suffer the agonies of pleurisy. This meant every time she took a breath in or out, she suffered a knife-like pain shooting throughout her entire body. She was then hospitalized up until her first chemo treatment. Due to her fragile situation, after finally receiving chemo, she required further hospitalizations. She has been unable to work and needs immediate financial help. As you can imagine, the bills she is facing are daunting. 

She did not ask for this fund to be set up, she is too giving. We know she needs helps and God knows she needs help. I have been led to set up this fund for my sister, Elizabeth. And, as she is always the one offering help, we pray you will help her in her time of need. If you are unable to help financially, please pray for our Elizabeth. She touches the lives of so many and she is in dire need of prayer and support.
