Sisterhood Housing Program

The Sisterhood Housing Program, by Arianna's Center, is an excellent and needed program for the transgender community in South Florida.

A recent needs assessment of transgender individuals living with HIV by the Transgender Law Center indicated a rate of % reporting homelessness, along with a myriad of barriers to support in employment and healthcare as a result. With the support of crowdfunding, we can initiate a model for an inconventional housing process using grassroots networks and transgender-led organizations. A program to provide a layover for the disenfranchised is needed so as to lay the groundwork for additional temporary housing for those displaced and in need.

This program can also serve as a blueprint to other grassroots organizations nationally! Please assist us in kickstarting this initiative, give a couple of transgender individuals housing after trying to use a system which is constantly against our community.  Join us in making South Florida a haven with options for those who are capable yet in need of the support of others!
