SIZZLE AND SUPPORT
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Ashanti, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to provide direct aid to families facing unimaginable hardship. Half of the proceeds will go to Aya Raed Alaqraa and her family in Gaza, who are struggling to survive after losing their home and loved ones. The other half will support Hispanic families suffering from mass deportation raids, including parents who have been unjustly detained by ICE, leaving their families in financial and emotional distress.
Aya’s Story: Surviving in Gaza
Aya Raed Alaqraa is a 23-year-old in Gaza who, along with her family, has endured unbearable suffering. Their home was bombed, resulting in the tragic loss of her grandfather and her uncle’s entire family. The surviving family members—7 adults and 3 children—are now homeless and struggling to afford food, water, and medical care. With rising costs and constant danger, they are in urgent need of assistance.
Funds will be sent directly to the family through a Bank of Palestine account to provide essential items such as food, medicine, warm clothing, hygiene products, and temporary shelter.
Families Torn Apart by ICE Detention
Families across the U.S. are living in fear due to mass deportation raids, leaving children without their parents and communities devastated. One of these families is Daisy Francisco’s, whose father was taken by ICE while on his way to work. Despite having no criminal record and being a hardworking provider for his family, he now faces deportation.
Daisy’s family was able to secure a lawyer, but the bond to bring her father home is $15,000—an overwhelming amount for a family already struggling to stay afloat.
A Daughter’s Plea: Please Help Bring My Dad Home
“I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My dad has been detained by ICE, and I don’t know where he is or what his current situation is. What I do know is that he was a father who gave us everything—he made sure we had a roof over our heads, food on our table, and love in our hearts. No matter the struggles, he worked tirelessly to provide for us.
Right now, I feel completely lost. I’m struggling with not knowing where he is or how I can help him. Once I am able to get in contact with him, my goal is to hire a lawyer who can fight for him to stay here, with his children, where he belongs. I want nothing more than for him to be home with us.
Unfortunately, the financial burden of hiring an attorney is overwhelming, and I am asking for your support to help make this possible. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly toward securing legal representation so my dad can fight to stay with us.
Please help me bring my dad home. Your generosity would mean the world to me and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.”
How You Can Help
This fundraiser is dedicated to bringing aid to those who need it most. Your donation will be split between these three urgent causes—helping Aya’s family in Gaza survive and reuniting families torn apart by ICE.
Even the smallest contribution can make a life-changing difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to spread awareness.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Together, we can bring hope to families in crisis.
