St. Johns HS Class of 2000 - one of our sweet classmates needs out help!

Jennifer Rubley and her daughter, Amelia, had their lives forever changed with the devastating breach of the Sanford Dam. Their home was less than an 1/8th of a mile from the dam, and they essentially lost everything - clothes, furniture, pictures, and a lifetime of memories were lost forever.

Via  Facebook message (she's Jenn Marie on FB), she shared that they are currently staying with a friend, and she will be required to return to work in a few days on May 31. Insurance is refusing to cover much of the loss as it was not an act of God and that the dams were not up to proper code. She added that it will be a long, drawn out battle.

20 years ago we crossed the stage together, culminating a journey that we were all on together, the epic SJHS Class of 2000. A family, forever intertwined into each other lives.

Today, one of our family members, and her daughter, need our support. I know that via our FB messages that Jennifer is strong, and certainly isn't looking for a handout - but we can rally and assistance them in their time of need. She added that anything would really be a blessing. I set a goal of$2,000 for obvious reasons. Let's do this SJ Fam!
