SJEB FC National Championship Travel Fund
Donation protected
SJEB FC is an amateur women’s soccer team based in Pitman, South Jersey and competing in the Women’s Premier Soccer League, which consists of 135 teams in the country.
Our players are collegiate athletes who compete during the summer months between their college seasons. We have 31 registered players, with 28 of them from the South Jersey community, 27 of those players played youth soccer for SJEB FC and in the High School scene.
Our 2022 regular season ended with a result of 6-1-1, qualifying us Regular Season Champions. The Conference Semi-Final ended in a 2-1 win in penalty kicks. The following day we beat VT Fusion 1-0 in the Eastern Conference Final, making us the Northeast Conference Champions for the first time in team history.
Being the representatives of the Northeast Conference, we are now tasked to travel to Still Water, Oklahoma, for the National Championship Final Four.
The National Semi-final will take place on July 22nd with the National Championship game on July 24th, both at Neal Patterson Stadium, home of the Oklahoma State University Women's Soccer team.
The WPSL have a playoff travel pool which will cover $7,000 of the team's expenses, and we are fundraising to cover the estimated $20,000 travel cost.
Our staff is less than a handful of people that want South Jersey to have a top level women’s soccer team. We are not a team that has hundreds of sponsors or billionaire owners, we are a 501(C)3 non profit organization.
The goal of this fundraiser is to help raise enough money to get our players and coaches to the National Championships in Oklahoma to cover flights, hotels, and mini-vans not covered by the WPSL travel pool money.
The SJEB FC organization appreciates any donations given, regardless of the amount, as these contributions will help us with our playoff journey and beyond.
