Jeramiah Robinson is just 17 years old, still in high school, and doing his best to hold everything together while his mother, Onijah Robinson, remains away. Alone in the Bronx, Jeramiah has taken on the overwhelming responsibility of paying the bills, managing the household, and keeping up with school—all while navigating the uncertainty of when his mom will return from Dubai.

On top of the daily struggles of being a teenager, Jeramiah has been bombarded with press and strangers demanding information about his mother, adding immense stress to an already impossible situation. He never asked for this, and the weight of it all has been overwhelming.
