Monique’s road to recovery

Hi!
Monique here. First, thank you for even clicking this link. I can't tell you how thankful I am for you even considering donating to my road to recovery. This is very hard for me to do. I know everyone has their struggles, needs, & BILLS TO PAY!
On May 25, 2022, I had the first seizure I’d ever had in…my… life. I woke up in my office with a bunch of people standing around me as a colleague performed CPR on me. The EMT’s came & of course I told them I was ok because “I ain’t spending $800 to ride up the street!” & they told me I probably had a reaction to a smell or something. Three days later, I had 3 seizures back-to-back-to-back, & after an emergency lift to a hospital, a biopsy & a few fits, I discovered that I had a brain tumor that is a rare form of brain cancer called glioblastoma.
Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer one can have. Most people diagnosed with this type of cancer, live 12-15 months after diagnosis. It takes most people out, because it keeps coming back.
I’ve had most of my tumor removed, I’ve undergone months of radiation & chemotherapy & I was doing great. But it’s time for round 2 & I wanna win.
Treatment is expensive & I’ve run out of options. I’ve avoided this for a while, but a friend told me that people need people & I need you all. I thank you for your love, prayers, thoughts, but most of all your support.
To God be the glory!
