Our Beloved Crossing Guard!

Ms. Torres has been working for our school as a crossing guard and copy clerk for 30+ years. She is loved by everyone that has come across her path. Her personality is nurturing, loving, caring, and hardworking. She was recently diagnosed with a life changing illness (cancer) and will go under a surgical procedure on April 20th. She will be out of work for 4-6 weeks. Ms. Torres is an hourly employee, which means that she will not get paid for those weeks. This gofundme is to help her with her living/medical expenses while she is out of work and to provide her with everything that she will need while she recuperates. Ms. Torres has given so much, not only to our school, but to the community. Now it is our turn to give a little back to her. This will help take some weight off her shoulders during this hard time in her life.
