Help Community Photography Historian “Rochelle Porter” Replace Stolen Camera Equipment!!!
Dear Community,
My name is Yvette Porter Moore, historian & genealogist, and I am helping veteran photographer, Rochelle Porter raise funds to replace her camera equipment that was stolen from her car while she was on assignment in the community. This was not only a trespass against her, but it was a trespass against all of us. Photographers are historical pillars in our community. They document and capture our history from day to day. They are valuable to the proof of our existence! Yes, we have cell phones with camera's, but professional photography is a must.
On a more personal note, photography is Ms. Rochelle's life style and financial livelihood. So, not only did she lose the tools of her trade, but she pretty much lost her ability to financially support herself. We want to thank her colleagues who have temporarily loaned Ms. Porter equipment but this is not a permanent solution.
Let’s all come together and help our friend gain her freedom back by helping her secure new camera equipment!!! She has been there for us, so let's be there for her. I thank you all for your support.
