Donate in loving memory of Andrew Meung-Velasquez

When Andrew started feeling sick that day, the school called his dad to pick him up. His condition got worse quickly. When his temperature spiked, he and his dad rushed to the hospital, where a team of doctors and nurses had to act quickly and did everything in their power to keep supplying his lungs with oxygen.

Andrew died that that night at 11.57 pm on October 25. He was 7 years old.

Within just a few hours, the life of the Meung and Velasquez families changed, and there are no words to describe the pain of the most terrible thing that can happen to a family.

Andrew’s mom described him as the family's sweetheart, showering everyone with love and joy in everything he did. “Every night he came to say ‘Goodnight’ and ‘I love you!”. He was his mom’s best friend.

Like every lively 7-year-old, he loved going to school, playing with his friends, playing video games, and riding his bicycle. He was a happy boy full of energy and with a promising future ahead.

Andrew leaves behind his heartbroken mother (Sokunthy), father (Julian), friends and family members.
