Help Jessica Fight

Friends and Family,
The last few years of our dear Jessica's life have been filled with many joyful blessings, but also exceptionally stressful and emotional challenges.
With a true love for others, and having been blessed with a servant’s heart, many of you know that Jessica has always taken in children in need to show them the love they long for and to make a difference in their lives. As soon as Jessica and her husband Frank were married, they immediately opened up their home to many people in need, and especially to the children of other family members, whom they love so dearly.
In 2011 Jessica and Frank took in three beautiful boys: Israel, Mark, and Jose, who are all brothers. Then, in July of 2013, they became a true family when they were blessed with the legal adoption of all three brothers. Not only the lives of these three boys, but also those of Jessica and Frank, have changed dramatically. The boys are shown such great love, attention, and affection; they have a loving home, food, and two caring parents they now call Mom and Dad. Sadly, however, and not long after the adoption, in September of 2013, Jessica was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and her painful battle had begun.
Since that time, Jessica has been through several surgeries and chemotherapy treatments, but none have been effective. Jessica’s chemotherapy treatment has now been changed for a third time in the hopes that it will finally begin to defeat this cancer, but this heavy dose of chemotherapy is making Jessica very sick. Doctors now believe they are running out of options for Jessica at the current medical facility where she is being treated, which is why they want to transfer her to a larger, more focused cancer center in Houston, Texas with greater opportunities for success. Such a move could be just what Jessica needs, but it will require more insurance coverage, and also transportation, among other related medical expenses.
Despite Jessica’s numerous surgeries and procedures, this very aggressive cancer has continued to spread throughout her body. As such, if she is not able to be transferred to the larger cancer center in Houston, Jessica’s doctors recently suggested that it may be time for Jessica to consider contacting hospice. And with Frank by her side 24/7, and currently not able to return to work, he is unsure of how long it will be before he can do so, much less how they will continue to pay for Jessica’s health insurance to maintain the medical care she so desperately needs.
But Jessica is not only a loving wife and mother; she is also a fighter, and she is not giving up. We are praying this chemotherapy treatment will be effective in defeating the cancer, but should it prove unsuccessful, Jessica, Frank, and their three boys will desperately need assistance. Please help support Jessica in her fight against this cancer as she tackles this long, rough journey ahead of her. Any funds received will be put towards Jessica’s chemotherapy treatments, her medication and medical expenses, and hopefully her transportation to Houston to see what else can be done for her. Jessica is not ready to say goodbye to Frank or their three boys, and we are most certainly not ready to let her go either. We will continue to fight with her!
So it is with the utmost gratitude and sincerity that we thank you for your prayers and your contributions. They are ever so greatly appreciated.
May God bless you and keep you, in the name of Jesus!
