Help Taylor fight Cancer

Donation protected
Hello everyone!!!! My name is Karisa Miles, I am a mother of two beautiful girls. I have an eight week old newborn London Uzzle and a 22 month old toddler Taylor Uzzle. On Monday, October 19, 2015 was one of the hardest days I have ever endured. After taking Taylor to a doctors appointment at her primary pediatrician's office to exam a lump on her lower left abdominal area, we were immediately sent to DMC Children's Hospital emergency room because Henryford could not help with her concern. At Children's they immediately began to run some test and scans, due to her results she was diagnosed with Wilms' tumor (cancer in the kidney). That night I stayed up most of the night crying not knowing what will happen but I continued to pray over and over. Taylor was recently scheduled for surgery Wednesday, October 21, 2015 to remove her left kidney completely due to the size of the tumor. Her surgery was a success, they were able to remove the kidney without any breakage of the tumor. However, a few days later after a biopsy was taken of the tumor we were informed she was at stage III, meaning there was a break in the capsule of the tumor and some cancerous cells are still floating around. Taylor will receive further treatment to cure this cancer, she is scheduled for 28 weeks of chemotherapy and 6 days of radiation therapy. With the treatment given she is not allowed to attend daycare nor her sister London due to the side effects and high risk of catching a cold, virus, etc. Taylor's immune system will be too low to fight off the germs in daycare or anything brought home to her so I need to stay home with Taylor. Her diagnoses occurred at the time I was getting ready to return to work from my maternity leave with her sister London. During my maternity leave I did not receive pay and had to pay for medical insurance out of pocket so my funds are running low. I am asking you all from the bottom of my heart to help us beat cancer so I able to stay home with Taylor and my newborn London full time as long as I can during the duration of Taylor's treatment, which is 28 weeks (7 months). I pray that Eric and I don't have to stress over not having the funds to pay for any medical cost, insurance, living expenses, gas to get appointments, groceries; etc or just being able to make this process as comfortable as possible for Taylor. The last thing I want is to worry about money so my full focus is on taking care of Taylor. It breaks my heart to see my little baby go through this, so it is imperative to me as a mother to be there every step of the way for her so she know mommy is always here. I pray everyday for God to give Eric and I strength and with all the support and prayers from family, friends, church groups; etc we have been so strong for Taylor. We thank everyone for your prayers and continuing prayers for our little princess Taylor's healing.
