Skagit County Mutual Aid Support

Hello! My name is Alana & I am a resident of Skagit County. I work for an institution of higher education and my kids attend the schools here as well. The impact this has had on our community moved me to follow the lead of Mutual Aid organizers in Seattle, WA & Portland, OR. I have mirrored the funding ask & services offered after those support networks. There are times when humanity has to make the choice to come together and overlook all of the differences to ensure that the future is intact for all community members. Covid-19 has turned our community upside down. From this crisis the Skagit County Mutual Aid was born. It is our mission to assist our community members by lifting some burdens brought on by these extraordinary times. 

If you are able and so moved— please consider a donation of any size. Every dollar counts and every dollar will be used to support the needs of our most vulnerable members in our community. Once this fund is no longer needed, whatever remains will be given to a local Skagit County area charitable organization and the fundraiser will be ended.
