Help Bring My Mom Home

On New Year’s Day, my family received the devastating news that my grandmother, who recently retired and moved to the Dominican Republic, was suddenly brain dead and suffering from many life-threatening complications due to a stroke. Heartbroken from the news my mom, Ana Lopez, booked the next flight to the Dominican Republic to say her goodbyes to her mom and my beloved grandmother, but right before she boarded her plane she learned her mom's heart stopped. As if losing her mother in another country was not traumatizing enough, on the way to the funeral home to say her final goodbye, my mom was in a severe car accident where she and my cousin were critically injured. My mom was on the rear passenger side of the car and received the impact from the oncoming vehicle. She is now suffering from multiple fractured ribs, detected fluid in her lungs, and a fractured pelvis. She was unable to attend her mom’s funeral. She is currently hospitalized, unable to walk or move her body, and is experiencing a tremendous amount of pain.
For those who do not know my mom very well, she is a hard working, single mother of two, a 6 year old son and myself, who are waiting eagerly for her to come back home. However, due to her critical condition, my mom has to be medically transported which exceeds our family’s financial abilities. My little brother and I wish for her safe arrival back to America where she can receive the immediate medical treatment necessary to help her recover fully.
Please help my family and I raise the funds for an AirAmbulance to have her safely transported back home. This is the most critical part of the many medical expenses that are immediately due.
