Hello, our names are Kelsey and Griffin Lee. Kelsey has been a figure skater and a member of the Pasadena Ice Skating Center for almost 10 years. Griffin is a junior at Maranatha High School and Kelsey's brother. We are excited and humbled to have the opportunity to set up this fundraiser for our local families that are in need.
Kelsey vividly remembers the morning after the first night of the fire. She was at the rink for an early morning practice, not fully understanding the level of destruction. It all came to light when she saw the Pasadena Convention Center, located just across from the rink, being converted to an evacuation center. When Griffin turned on the news that morning, all he saw were videos of raging fires and photos of burned-out buildings.
For the last few weeks, we have seen many families struggling and afraid. Their facial expressions show anxiety and sadness, the loss of thousands of memories. We will never be able to comprehend the pain and suffering that they have encountered. However, what we can do is help them grieve and move forward, rebuilding their lives.
We are asking for your generosity and support. Please come and join us for a fun evening of skating, music, and more on March 28th, 2025. All donations are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you.
