John Dokoupil
is a fun, quick-witted young man and a great friend.  His friends describe him as unique - one of a kind... he loves to be silly and always tries to make people laugh.  He loves traveling with his parents, Julie and Andy, and shares fond memories of trips to Mexico and other places around the world.   He's an avid skateboarder and loves to be outside with friends and to play video games when he can't be outside.  One of his favorite things in the world to do is to go skating with friends at the great skate parks in our city.

A couple of years ago, John was diagnosed with epithelioid glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer in the brain and spinal cord. After braving a variety of treatments, John entered hospice care.   Throughout his battle with this illness, John has lived life to the fullest extent possible, continuing to skate and to get out with his friends as long as he possibly could.  His endearing spirit has touched so many in our community.

In his honor, John's friends and teachers are fundraising to have skateboard repair stations installed at his favorite skate parks in Fort Collins. Each station costs approximately $1500. Please join us in honoring this incredible young man by donating today.
