SKIF Karate World Championships for Adorna

Hi, I'm Steve, an Instructor at Kyoto Shotokan Karate Dojo in Bristol, UK.

A young female student of ours has been selected to represent Great Britain at the SKIF Karate World Championships to be held in Hungary in August 2023.

We are raising funds for Adorna (18) to travel to Gyor, Hungary and the accomodation costs during the championships and her journey to get ready (training, courses, national competitions).

Adorna started training with us a few years back and has shown great promise in junior competitions - this year she will attempt her Shodan grading (black-belt) in July and has been selected to compete at the World Championships in Kumite (free fighting) and Kata (forms) in the female 18-19 years category.

SKIF has over 100 countries affiliated and is one of the largest single-style karate organisations in the world.

Please help us get Adorna the preparations she needs and to help fund her trip.
