FUNDED - SKINNY MINNIE - help with medical bills & rehoming

Hi everyone! We've been alerted about a local cat in need of help and we'd love nothing more than offering this case a happy ending. ❤️

A kind hearted lady recently started caring for a stray cat she named "Skinny Minnie." He appeared in her garden, looking very thin, rough and extremely hungry. Despite checking around, no one seemed to be missing him. Over time, Skinny Minnie grew more confident and started spending more time in her garden. The kind lady even got him a cosy igloo hut to keep warm! She allows him inside occasionally but has to be cautious as she has a senior cat who could get stressed. Skinny Minnie has us all worried. Despite being fed regularly and de-wormed, he’s eating and drinking a lot but still not gaining weight. This sweet boy urgently needs a vet visit to check for a microchip, assess his health, update his vaccinations and get the medical care he deserves.

The lady who’s been looking after him is happy to continue providing him with love, food and shelter, but vet bills are not an expense she can afford. By word of mouth, she reached out to us to see if we could assist in any way. Being very much aware that the local shelters are full to the brim and are struggling financially, we said yes in a heartbeat.

So now we’re raising funds to cover:
  • A thorough vet check-up
  • Vaccinations and possible treatments
  • Steps towards finding Skinny Minnie a forever home

We really want to give this resilient little guy a chance to thrive and find a perfect forever home. ❤️

Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a huge difference! Even £1, £2, or £3 can bring us closer to our goal. (GoFundMe allows a minimum donation of £5, but if you'd like to donate a smaller amount, please feel free to message us directly for bank or PayPal details.) As always, we work closely with veterinarians, all payments go directly to the vet and we are sent invoices. We thoroughly check every case we take on to ensure that the people and pets we assist genuinely need help.

Our mission is simple: to ensure the happiness and well-being of pets while easing the worries of their owners or carers. We've done this many times before with your support and we are forever grateful for your kindness.

Thank you so much for reading and please share this fundraiser if you can ❤️
