Donation protected
Phil Eidam, fondly known as Ranger Skip, passed away on June 14, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with thyroid cancer.
Besides his family, Skip's passion was Scouting. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America for more than 60 years. He joined as an 11 year old Scout in Belden, OH, served as an adult volunteer for years and eventually transformed his passion into his profession.
He served as Head Camp Ranger for nearly 20 years for Buckeye Council. He started at Camp McKinley in Lisbon, OH, where he worked for nine years. He then moved, along with his wife Sandy, to Seven Ranges Scout Reservation in Kensington, OH. He spent just over 10 years taking care of the camp and the thousands of Scouts who visited it each year.
This memorial fund will support a project at Seven Ranges Scout Reservation to be decided upon by the family.
