Brady And Aidan Leukemia Fund
Donation protected
Hi friends,This page has been started to raise money for the Skoch boys, Brady, (15) and Aidan (17) and their family. There are no words to describe every parents worst fear coming true. Sadly their family came back from a trip to the National Institute of Health with very terrible news about both boys.Brady has what is called CMML with Monosomy7 and Avx1... so basically this is leukemia. He is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant (scheduled the 1st week of December). Aidan has MDS Monosomy 7.. which at this time is not as critical.. but also very serious and unfortunately might mean that he will be in Brady’s position very soon. If you don’t know the Skochs, Debra (Aidan and Brady’s Mom) had leukemia as well as a bone marrow transplant over 10 years ago when the boys were just babies. Brady will be in Washington DC starting next week. He will be there with his family over the next 6 months, living in the hospital, preparing for his transplant and then after the transplant waiting to see what the outcome is.
We know the Skoch family is a very strong family and that they will fight. This page is started so that we can help them fight. We can help Brady fight and have an improved quality of life while he fights. Also to help Aidan with whatever the outcome ends up being with his own body whether it be less serious or not, so he can have improved quality of life while he is by his brothers side during this.
We can help them with some of the huge costs over the next few months and next year as they uproot their lives and move to another state that they are unfamiliar with, have no friends close by to support them, and no jobs in.Please donate whatever you can, whatever the amount may be. Every dollar helps and no donation is to small!
