Mission statement

We are Skoolie Short busses, A facebook founded nomad community. We are almost 20k members strong and have a very supportive community. Our goal is to buy an already located pacel of land in Colorado and build a lage nomad campground. We plan to have full hookup sites as well as boondock sites. We are striving for a family friendly safe haven for all travelers. We are seekig partnerships with individuals and businesses for sponsors, donors, and investors. Our vision is a place open year around to anyone and everyone with all the amenities such as, laundry facilities, shower facilities. playground for kids as well as a dog park for the pups.Also we plan for a community kitchen for potluck dinners and events. A big bon fire pit and a shop stocked with tools to assist people with repairs and maintenece of thier tiny homes on wheels. Skoolie short busses was founded by my amazing wife (Louella) and myself (Jack), we have been fulltime living in our converted short bus for 2 years now and during this time we have discovered that there are very few places for nomads to park and even fewer places to park that are affordable and safe so this fueled our mission to build a nomad community campground. We are seeking both investors and donations to help us achieve our goal. We are Skoolie Short Buses, a facebook based community. We are seeking help from the skoolie and nomad communities to buy a 15+ acres of land in Colorado or Arizona to build Skoolie Headquarters, open to all busses of all sizes as well as any other homes on wheels.A large space with power, water and sewer hookups as well as lots of space to boondock. We plan for a community laundry room and kitchen. It will have a playground for kids and a large dog playground. We will also have a large shop that can fit any size bus, along with tools for everyone to use including but not limited to power tools and welders. We will have a large bonfire area as well as an outdoor theater. Everyone will be welcome and we will have space for short and long term stays and will be the most affordable place for nomads to stay and have a safe and supportive community.
