Skully of Lullys is giving my Husband a Kidney

Donation protected

Skully, who runs the Lullys hotdog stand in the Abbotsford Canadian Tire parking lot, is donating one of his kidneys to save my husband Tim’s life.

Our family has been customers at Lullys for a few years now but that was our only interaction with Skully. Last Dec 8th, we were coming out of the store and ran into him. We were talking and told him that we just found out that Tim needed a new kidney ASAP. Skully asked what the criteria for donating and we told him the donor had to be B+/- or O+ blood type. He quickly said "If I’m a match you can have mine". Two days later, Skully contacted us saying that his lab results came back and he was O+ and that Tim could have one of his kidneys.

It has been a long road of testing and lab work and in mid January we were informed that Skully was a perfect match. The operation is scheduled for December 14th. Tim and Skully have to self quarantine for 2 weeks prior to surgery and Skully will most likely be off work for an additional 3 months to recover.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help Skully make it through this period.

Please share this post and help if you can.

Sincerely
Cindy Rhyno
