Sky dive for Leo’s Neonatal Charity

Hi! My name is Shane, I am a 62 years old, born and bred in Middlesbrough.

On Saturday 10th August 2024 I will be taking to the sky to do a sky dive with the aim of raise funds for Leo’s Neonatal charity.

Every penny sponsored is extremely appreciated and all funds go straight to the this local charity.

A little about the charity….

Leo’s is an award-winning neonatal mental health charity based in the north east of England.

They have been caring for families since 2018. They began by offering counselling, in the NICU peer support, welcome boxes, vCreate and heartbeat bears to name but a few.

In 2022 they undertook an overhaul

of their services, allowing them to not only care for parents, but also for the infants and children in their care too.

The team now specialises in working through both a Trauma Informed and Sensory Informed Lens, meaning they will always take into account, why the people they support may feel the way they do with the aim to provide a holistic, person centred service.

The work Leo’s does has previously been recognised by the Prime Minister and recieved the Points of Light Award.

The money fundraised will help them continue this vital work in our community.
