Raising Funds for Strathcarron on behalf of my amazing wife

EDIT UPDATE - Skydive has been postponed due to maintenance aircraft issues and has now been rescheduled for the 12th April

Hi for those of you who don’t know me I am Alex Barron and on the 23rd of March this year I will be participating in a sky dive at St Andrews Airfield in order to raise funds for Strathcarron Hospice, On behalf of my wife Lorraine.

Unfortunately in January this year my beautiful wife and best friend was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung, pancreatic and bone cancer!!

As you can imagine this has been a devastating and heartbreaking time for all of us a family and we are still unable to process what is ahead.

My wife has been a warrior as everyone who knows her would expect nothing less however she has been in a great deal of pain daily and is continuing to fight to have the best quality of life she possibly can.

Lorraine was recently an inpatient at Strathcarron Hospice in Denny and received the most amazing care and we are truly grateful for the work they do.

The hospice rely solely on donations and I would like to do my best to raise as much as possible to thank them for the care they have given and continue to provide.

For everyone who knows Lorraine knows she is the most giving and selfless person, always helping others and taking care of everyone else so please if you can give anything at all even the smallest donation it will be greatly appreciated.

The cost of the sky dive has already been paid from our own money and will not be deducted from the funds raised these will go directly to Strathcarron
