Sky Diving For Big Cats

Hi my name is Victoria, any one that knows me knows I’ve always been very passionate about all animals but especially Big Cats.

It is my dream to one day work with them in one way or another. I have decided to take the leap and sky dive on the 30th November at Headcorn in Kent, 12,000ft up ! to try and raise money for a cause that is so so dear to my heart !

I’ve been visiting The Big Cat Sanctuary Ltd for a few years now, whether that’s doing experience days, open days or attending talks. The work they do there for all their cats is amazing and oh so inspiring! For me their most impressive work is their current campaign ‘Big Cats In Crisis’

Big Cats in Crisis – the story so far:

The Big Cat Sanctuary’s Big Cats in Crisis campaign is providing a forever home for five African lions caught up in the ongoing war in Ukraine.

In May 2024, in association with IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare), we announced our plans to evacuate five big cats – lionesses Yuna, Vanda, Amani and Lira, and lion Rori – from the Wild Animals Rescue Center (WAR) in Kyiv, Ukraine. A fundraising campaign to build a lion rescue centre at the Sanctuary, and to transport the cats out of the warzone, has raised over £400,000 so far.

And in August 2024, Cross Border Animal Services (CBAS) evacuated our first two lions – Yuna and Rori – from Kyiv! Rori is currently at the Natuurhulpcentrum in Belgium, while Yuna has arrived safely at the Big Cat Sanctuary.

Please give any thing you can, every little bit really will help build these wonderful animals a lovely and more importantly SAFE new home and get them out of danger !
