Skydive for prospect hospice
My name is heidi.
After completing the course Excellence in Care at the End of Life course, and visiting the Prospect Hospice in swindon.
To my delight the building was beautiful inside, and the gardens looked amazing. Unfortunately and sadly they have had to cut the amount of individuals that they can take in as they only have 6 beds although they can take up to 16 . This is because they do not get the funding. It costs £8000to run the hospice which is helped by public donations and events.
The staff not only help care for the dying patient but also their families and really do make a difference.... so I am here to ask for your help...
The staff and volunteers really do make the environment an amazing place for someone. With a cafe, and beautiful food, which is open to the public ( I wasn't aware of this )
I am doing a sky dive on 18th August, I will be jumping from 15,000 feet to raise money for this amazing charity to try and help make a difference.....
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Prospect Hospice and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
