Skydive to raise funds for Guide Dogs UK
Hello,
My name is Caroline, and on the 21st of July, I will be jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet to hopefully raise some much needed funds for Guide Dogs UK.
For the last year, I have been raising a Guide Dog puppy who will soon leave me to go to ‘Big School’ to start the next stage of her guiding journey. Although her leaving will break my heart I know she will be going on to change someone’s life. I’ll then start again with a new puppy.
Every day 250 people in the UK start to lose their sight and if you are able to sponsor me for this jump you will be helping raise money for Guide Dogs who make sure people living with sight loss don't lose their freedom as well.
Although there are many unpaid volunteers such as the Stud dog and Brood bitch holders, the Puppy Raisers and the fundraisers, the cost to train and support a Guide Dog during its lifetime will cost around £35,000 to £55,000.
If you are able to donate to my fund, ‘Thank you!’ it’s much appreciated.
