Skydive to support National kidney federation
To do my part towards helping, I am going to be doing a tandem skydive on 23/10/21 for which I am raising money to go towards the nkf charity. This is a challenge for me as I am so afraid of heights but am willing to overcome this and raise money for this cause which is very close to my heart
This holds a special place in my heart as I’ve lost my dad and my uncles all due to kidney failure at very young ages. My sister was also diagnosed with kidney failure 2 and half years ago. She then received her transplant last year. She is the only person in our family who was blessed with a transplant. My dad and uncles passed away after years and years of being on the waiting list.
I would now like to help and help raise awareness towards this cause.
More information about National Kidney Federation: The NKF is a small but highly effective national charity, established forty years ago and still unique in several ways. We are the only UK support organisation run by kidney patients for kidney patients; we provide the only national Helpline dedicated solely to renal patients, their families and carers; and are the UK's largest producer and distributor of kidney related medical information leaflets. Right across the UK we currently support 2 million kidney patients.
