As some of you know or may not know, I lost my best mate the most important person in my life to this day in my beautiful mum Sarah Wilson two weeks ago to the dreaded C. For over 33 years she guided me through life to the very last few days of her life helping me make decisions that have brought me to this date. We had an awful call September last year when her and my dad returned back from Spain and she was told she had terminal cancer stage 4. As a family it wasn’t just the thought of her becoming Ill but it’s losing the figure head of our family and it’s been felt across the family and extended family members.
There are many great memories and moments I could share but I think there will be a time and place with all you people I know and knew her to story tell. In moments of loss and heart break sometimes a light appears, and that it did in the incredible nurses and doctors we got to share mums last few days with at Havens in Southend. They allowed us to spend the last 72hrs together as a family, sleeping eating and laughing aswell as catching last moments with Mum that we can’t possibly say thank you enough.
An incredible collection of humans that showed amazing care and and helped us shape the decisions to get mum to the best possible place before she passed peacefully and more importantly to me pain free.
She will have graced many people and they will have been and told anything they wanted, straight down the line because mums greatest trait was also her worst trait and that was her dragon tongue when it come to tell it how it is no matter the situation.
I am also fund raising for runwell sports fc a team I manage alongside a good friend, They as a club have been great in this moment and want to help them raise funds for a new stand.
Ive decided that jumping out of a plane 5000ft from the ground will give you all a good incentive to dig deep and help me achieve a big number for the two collective charities.
Lastly I want to say I love you forever and always, my best friend.
Thanks all
