As a majority of you may know, I am competing for the title of National American Miss for the state of Florida! I am over the moon to have been given the opportunity to compete with the pageant organization NAM for the very first time.
A lot of you may be asking yourselves, what is National American Miss? What kind of pageant is this?
NAM focuses on their mission, Growing Confidence™, showing that NAM is the pageant organization for todays girl. “We believe that today’s women are well-rounded and that beauty goes far beyond hair, makeup, and gowns. We know each of the girls and young women who pass through our program will find a renewed sense of purpose and pride in who she is.” They take pride in their focus of creating real world skills and knowing that NAM girls and young women are the future leaders of tomorrow.
How does this apply to me? What can I add to NAM?
Everyday, my focus lies in perfecting my definitive style and approach to developing others. Being Florida Miss to me, is taking those skills and teaching other girls and young women how to be fiercely independent and what it means to be authentic. Being able to have a platform to build and foster relationships, and share my thoughts of what it means to be an ambitious, and empathetic leader, is what drives my excitement to compete.
All funds will be exclusively used towards NAM and my personal expenses towards the pageant, the main ones being my sponsorship fee, optional contests and hotel expenses. Your donations are greatly appreciated and ultimately make it possible to have this amazing experience.
