Hi everyone,
As many of you know my dear friend Skyler was in a horse racing accident at Tampa Bay Downs. She is only 22 years old and is a full time jockey as well as a third year nursing student. Skyler Spanabel is a full time jockey and also a full time third year nursing student. She was hurt in a race last week at Tampa bay downs when her horse clipped heels causing her and the horse to fall. She will be having surgery to repair her severely displaced and broken clavicle. Requires plates and screws. Then after that heals she will have to have surgery on her elbow to remove the hardware in there as it has shifted. As many of you know skyler just recently came back from another injury. Skyler works very hard at what she does and also has a love for the game and horses like no other. Anything will be greatly appreciated for her medical bills as well as school as she will be needing to take the time to heal and recover. Thank you all, share and pray for Skyler and let’s all help her feel a little more at ease as she needs to think only about resting and getting better!!
