PROJECT SKYLINE - HERE TO STAY - WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Donation protected
In the heart of Western North Carolina, Project Skyline stands as a beacon of hope and resilience for communities devastated by Hurricane Helene. Operating out of the Skyline Village Inn in Spruce Pine, this Veteran-Owned and Operated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing long-term support and rebuilding efforts for those affected by natural disasters. Their mission is clear: to uplift those in need through sustainable solutions that ensure a brighter, resilient future for all.

Since arriving on the ground in Spruce Pine on September 27, 2024, Project Skyline has been at the forefront of relief efforts, mobilizing swiftly to address the immediate needs of the community. Operating as a primary distribution hub, the organization has provided approximately 800 hot meals daily to more than 400-600 residents, distributed over 300,000 pounds of critical supplies valued at approximately $1 million, and logged over $500,000 worth of volunteer hours. These contributions have included services from professionally certified arborists, heavy equipment operators, civil engineers, electricians, and other skilled professionals.

Through nimble, efficient, and prudent project management, Project Skyline has accomplished all of these initiatives over a period of 90 days by operating solely through supply donations, volunteer workforce, and less than $50,000 in funds.

In addition to these efforts, Project Skyline has played a key role in facilitating the strategic implementation of over $30 million worth of equipment, including military helicopters, military vehicles and personnel, dump trucks, heavy machinery, and other vital resources. These assets have been instrumental in addressing the extensive damage caused by Hurricane Helene and supporting ongoing recovery efforts.

Staffed by United States Veterans highly skilled in operational planning, risk management, and incident command systems, Project Skyline operates with unmatched efficiency and dedication. Their team remains permanently stationed at the Skyline Village Inn, on duty 24/7, ready to respond to calls for assistance at a moment's notice.

However, the road to full recovery is far from over. The organization urgently needs additional resources to continue its vital work without interruption.

Through the tireless efforts of volunteers and generous contributions from supporters, Project Skyline has become a lifeline for countless families. Yet, sustained support is crucial to maintain momentum and address the long-term needs of these resilient communities. By contributing to Project Skyline, you become an integral part of this mission. Your donations directly impact lives, providing essential resources and hope to those striving to rebuild.
