Skeeter's Skylodge Fundraiser
Donation protected
For years, a simple yet extraordinary structure has stood at the heart of gatherings that bring people together to share knowledge, music, stories, and dreams for a better world. The Skylodge—a spacious, weathered canvas lodge—has been more than just a shelter. It has been a sanctuary, a classroom, a council chamber, and a place where ideas take root and grow into action.
Under its canopy, people have learned about permaculture, herbal medicine, ecosystem restoration, and the ancient wisdom of living in harmony with the land. They’ve sat in circles, weaving relationships across generations and traditions. They’ve sung, debated, healed, and envisioned a future where humans live in right relationship with the Earth.
But time has taken its toll. The Skylodge, after years of faithful service, is worn beyond repair. Its fabric is threadbare, its seams have stretched, and though it has stood through many storms, it cannot stand much longer. If it could speak, it would carry the voices of thousands who have gathered beneath it, and it would tell us: It’s time for something new.
We are raising funds to replace the Skylodge so that it can continue to serve as the heart of these gatherings for years to come. This isn’t just about buying a tent—it’s about ensuring that the work and vision it has sheltered can continue. It’s about preserving a space where people can come together to learn, to dream, and to take action for the Earth.
Michael Pilarski, affectionally known to us as Skeeter—who has spent decades creating spaces for knowledge-sharing, community, and Earth healing, knows that the work is never about just one person—it’s about all of us. And so, in the spirit of community, he asks: Will you help rebuild this space so that the work can continue? And those of us who have experienced the magic of this place know its value. A new Skylodge will mean more gatherings, more knowledge shared, more connections forged, and more hope for the future.
If this lodge has ever given you a moment of inspiration, learning, or connection—or if you simply believe in the power of spaces that bring people together for a greater purpose—please consider contributing. Every donation helps, and together, we can ensure that this living, breathing space for Earth healing and community building continues to thrive.
Let’s build a new Skylodge. Let’s keep the circle unbroken.
