These past seven months have been trying times for everyone. Live Music will become a thing of the past because our Musicians will need to find a different livelihood because of the restrictions being placed on Bars and Restaurants. Musicians have been there for all of US in our times of need, including the past six months to raise money for Slainte 2020 and Meitheal. Two organizations that raised money through music for First Responders and Health Care Workers and out of work immigrants locally. It's our turn to help these Musicians and their families and our Music and Arts Programs in the Woodlawn/Yonkers area.
This will all be done in the name of our dear friend Peter McKiernan who passed away one month ago. Through the Emerald Isle Immigration Center, your contribution is a write off, and you will be helping people that are struggling.
Peter McKiernan was there for so many throughout his lifetime and we want to continue his legacy. It starts here. Please support this Fund and see the testimonials from those that have benefited from your Contribution.
There will be a Mass on November 1st starting at 2:30 PM being LiveStreamed from Saint Barnabas Church, and then an afterparty at Keane's Bar and Restaurant on Katonah Avenue, which will also be Livestreamed.
Some of the Artists throughout the day will be Dermot Henry, Brian Buggsy Moran, Susan and Gerard Corbett, Bangers and Mash, Mickey Coleman, Erin Loughran, Seamus Keane, Niall O'Hagan, Paul Cray, Conor McGuirk, and others!
Thank you to Derek Woods and Niall O'Hagan in advance for filming and live streaming throughout the day.
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit our local Musicians and Music and Arts Programs in the name of our friend Mr. Catskills, Peter McKiernan.
