St. Luke Chamber Orchestra February 2 Concert

Dear Friend of the St. Luke Chamber Orchestra,

The St. Luke Chamber Orchestra was founded in 2017 and its home base is St. Luke’s Orthodox Church in Garden Grove. The ensemble performs locally for audiences that traditionally would not be able to attend concerts due to cost or physical limitations and accepts free will offerings at the door and on its GoFundMe page. 

The man who inspired this ensemble was the great Los Angeles-based pianist, composer and conductor, Norman Mamey, who died in 2015 before realizing his dream of establishing an orchestra to serve the local community. The St. Luke Chamber Orchestra seeks to fulfill that mission. One of our distinguished patrons has said of the group, “The St. Luke Chamber Orchestra transcends the economic boundaries and creates a community grounded in mutual appreciation of beauty.”

Our next concert will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at St. Luke's Orthodox Church in Garden Grove, starting at 12:30 pm and will feature Schubert's "Great" C Major Symphony.
