SLCTA Future Educator Scholarship Fund

The San Luis Coastal Teachers Association (SLCTA) needs YOUR help in raising scholarship funds to be awarded to local graduating seniors who are pursuing a career in education.  

This will be SLCTA's eighth year of awarding these scholarships. Last year we were able to grant four seniors representing Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, and Pacific Beach High Schools $3,600 in financial assistance.  In addition, we supported two former SLCUSD students currently attending college with a total of $1,000 in assistance.

This year we hope to expand our very-popular Future Educator Scholarship Program by including and acknowledging even more very-deserving local San Luis Coastal USD seniors.  

Our new round of scholarship awardees will be announced on May 5, 2020.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 by April 17th.  In addition to this Go Fund Me Campaign, SLCTA is also hosting a Bingo Night on Friday, April 17th where all proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund.  More information and tickets are available by clicking here.

Any individual, company or organization that donates $100 or more by April 14th will have their name printed in the Bingo Night Program and will be publically acknowledged to the expected crowd of 150 people.
