Sleeping with Clouds - A Comedy Short Film

Introduction-

"Sleeping with Clouds" is a live-action storybook comedy about two strangers who wake up after a one-night stand to find their bed floating miles high in the sky with no discernible escape from each other... Imagine the film like a children's storybook grownup or a more adult Pixar film.

 

 

Funding the Project -

The money we raise will go towards the following:

- Rental Equipment (surprisingly pricey)

- Art Direction (gotta make it look good)

- Food (eating is good)

- Post-Production (big blue screens ain't cheap)

 

 

Why Donate? -

Filmmaking isn't cheap. All we want to do is entertain people and if you've enjoyed a previous work of ours then donating will help us create more for you. Collin Black - Director & Writer

 

Collin Black is an award-winning short film and commercial director. He's produced an extensive catalog of content over the course of fifteen years that includes short films, music videos, and visual-effects tutorials. As a director, he is focused on making cinematic-quality comedies, usually with an otherwordly twist. With a limited budget and resources, he is able to create a lot with a little.

 

He's currently a full-time video producer at Ohio University and is really excited to direct Sleeping with Clouds

 

 

Joey Caldwell - Producer

 

Joey Caldwell is an award-winning short-film producer. He is prolific at producing helping create over 10 short films in the last 2 years. He has a getter done mentality and every film he produces goes smooth. His best friend is Cal Gunderson. He's the jack of all trades and the trade of all jacks.

 

Joey wants to say "The story that Collin has written is extremely funny and I can't wait for people to see it!"

 

 

Sammy Lahiri - Director of Photography

 

Sammy Lahiri is an award-winning Director of Photographer. He has filmed a variety of projects in the past 5 years including short films, music videos, documentaries, commercials, etc. He has worked on films with no budget all the way to multi-million dollar projects. His credits include Abduction Production, To Spy For, Understudied, and Lightheaded. Cal Gunderson is not his friend.

 

Sammy wants to say "I am very excited and passionate about this project and I really can't wait to put this on my reel. I'm excited for the challenges for this project and for its major potential it has as a story".
