Slice of Summer

Slice of Summer is a grassroots summer-long pizza-making campaign backed by home pizza cooks across the US.

Our goal is to raise awareness about food insecurity and raise funds for Slice Out Hunger. Slice Out Hunger is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that uses donated food from independent pizzerias around the country to raise money for local hunger relief organizations.

This summer, home pizza makers across the country are joining the cause and helping raise funds to fight food insecurity. Our goal is to raise an ambitious $100,000 over the course of the next 10 weeks. How? By making and sharing pizza of course! Just check out the list of participants on our website  and find a participating home pizzaiolo near you.  You can access their excellent pizza by making a donation to help us hit our goal. It's that easy.
