Slievenamon Christmas Climb

The inaugural Slievenamon Christmas Climb will take place on the 28th of December 2021 in aid of aware.ie (supporting mental health) & the local KBK Sports Field.
An exciting challenge of walking to the top of the mountain awaits everyone who wants to get involved (just turn up on the day)! The agenda for the day is as follows:
1. Park in Ballypatrick
2. Enjoy some yoga in Ballypatrick (KBK Sports Field) before the challenge (bring mat or towel)
3. Take a shuttlebus from Ballypatrick to the foot of Slievenamon
4. Climb the mountain & get a 'selfie' with your family & friends at the top and post it on social media using #SlievenamonChristmasClimb
5. Walk down the mountain and back to Ballypatrick to finish the walk.
6. Enjoy some complimentary finger food supplied by 'Nagles' in 'The Cross Bar - Ballypatrick'
7. Win some spot prizes on the night in aid of 'A Dream for Danny'

Finally, its worth noting that the event organiser takes no responsibility for any injury sustained during the event or any loss / theft of possessions. We ask everyone attending to respect COVID-19 guidelines. Although the event is predominately based outdoors, we ask people to keep social distancing while queuing for either the bus or refreshments and wear a mask where appropriate.
