The Slipper Room Fundraising Effort

Since 1999, The Slipper Room has been showcasing downtown New York City's burlesque and variety scene.  In that time, thousands of artists have performed in our theatre.  Performers from around the world have shared the stage with us.  There are hundreds of New York City artists who perform there regularly and call it home.  Normally we put on a show every night, but these are not normal times.  The Slipper Room has been closed since March 15, due to social distancing requirements.  We are unsure when we will be able to get back to doing what we love - entertaining.  In the meantime, many of the expenses of running a small family-owned theatre in Manhattan continue to accrue.  We are asking all fans of the Slipper Room worldwide to consider helping us with a donation, to ensure that when we are allowed to re-open that we will still be in a position to do so.  thank you for any help that you can give.
