SLOUGH MASJID APPEAL

The Messenger of Allāh (salAllāhu alayhi wasallam) said: “Whoever makes a Masjid for the sake of Allāh, Allāh will make for him a house in Paradise.” (Sahih Muslim)

Established in 2001 (registered UK Charity #1119843), calling to the pure creed and methodology as understood by the pious predecessors.

Over the past 20 years, in addition to establishing a masjid, we have provided vital support to the community in Slough and further afield in the UK and overseas, some of which have been listed below.

We have outgrown our current premises, unable to fully accomodate brothers for Jummuah prayers with brothers regularly praying outside on the pavements and due to this we are currently unable to accommodate sisters for Jummuah prayers. We would also like to expand upon our current activities as well as introduce new initiatives; some of these are listed below.

For you dear reader, a house in Paradise, sadaqaatun jaariyya (ongoing charity) and a noble cause that is pleasing to your Lord. For this project, we aim to raise £5,000,000 which is an estimated figure (this estimation is based on the current market rates for an appropriately sized building in Slough and the associated costs to establish a Masjid).

We hope and pray that you can support this noble cause, and building a masjid for Allāh's sake is from the most valuable investment any Muslim can make - an investment for our future generations and our Hereafter.

And spend in the Cause of Allâh and do not throw yourselves into destruction (by not spending your wealth in the Cause of Allâh), and do good. Truly, Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the good-doers). (Al-Baqarah 2:195)
