Can you help us raise £960 for our defibrillator?

At SLP College, we pride ourselves on our approach to top-class training and the health and wellness of our students.

We help create a supportive, healthy environment and our safety on site is a top priority.

We are mindful of heart health combined with extensive training, and it has been our goal to install a defibrillator in the building. The defibrillator will provide an added layer of protection for our students and staff in a lifesaving emergency.

There are over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests every year in the UK, and with the help of the charity London Hearts, we have been offered a chance to purchase one

for the college at a reduced cost.

London Hearts fundraising goes back into communities to provide lifesaving defibrillators and CPR training, and so we thank them for helping make a difference to SLP College.

The cost for the defibrillator is £960 and we are kindly asking our friends and family of the college to support us with the purchase of such an expensive but vital item.

The Defibrillator is a new advanced dual-functioning Mindray Defibrillator. Not only does this model carry out daily self-diagnostic tests, meaning maintenance is extremely limited but more importantly this model can be applied to both an adult and a child at the flick of a switch.

We have had amazing support from our previous fundraisers, and we are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community of parents, students, graduates and local residents. Any donation no matter how small will be making a huge contribution, and may help save a life.
