Laurentian Nepal Relief Fund
Donation protected
The St. Lawrence University student organization Literacy for Nepal and the St. Lawrence community have been inspired by their longstanding connections in Nepal to raise funds in response to the recent devastation. Founded in 2009 by Brijlal Chaudhari ’10, Literacy for Nepal has continued to have a strong presence in fostering educational opportunities in Nepal.
We have been deeply affected by the plight of friends, alumni, and colleagues in Nepal, and Literacy for Nepal is raising money to reconstruct educational facilities with direct connections to the St. Lawrence community.
In hopes of providing current students at these schools with the ability to safely return to school in a timely manner, these funds will be directly sent to Nepal to support restoration efforts.
