Smaili Family Medical Fundraiser

My name is Leanne Caruso and I am raising funds for Robbie and Danielle Smaili. They are a beautiful family of five including three small boys. Their oldest child Wyatt was diagnosed with Nicolaides-Baraitser Syndrome. With NCBRS comes a lot of health challenges. Seizures are the most common. Up until recently, Robbie and Danielle thought Wyatt had not been having seizures but things changed.

Wyatt had an MRI and is having a 24-48 hour EEG to try to find some answers and hopefully treatments. Danielle is staying with Wyatt at Lebonheur for the next several days while Robbie holds down the fort at home with their other boys.

Having a medically complicated child is difficult on its own, but one who also cannot tell you what hurts, where it hurts, and doesn't understand why he has many leads glued to his head can be rough. This is so rough on a parent's heart.

Robbie and Danielle should only be concerned with the health of Wyatt, not the upcoming medical bills.
