Aina Clothing
Aloha!
What is Aina? Aina is Hawaiian for land or earth. Pronounced “eye-nah”
Aina is a solopreneur business that strives to make clothing; hoodies, t-shirts, hats and gear that are more sustainable, eco-friendly, durable and sourced as locally as possible while also being of fair value. I started this business 9 years ago in New Jersey and am now based in Virginia. During that time, I've worked hard to support and sustain this business and have given back to regional and national conservation groups such as Surfrider Foundation, TreesUpstate and Sourland Conservancy. However, the Covid-19 has brought my business to a standstill. The markets and festivals where I retail my clothes have been canceled or shuttered. Like many other small businesses, I’m running out of cash to pay expenses.
I am launching this GoFundMe campaign as a response to the Small Business Relief Initiative. Sponsored by GoFundMe, Yelp, and Intuit QuickBooks, the Initiative will issue $500 matching grants to qualifying businesses that raise at least $500 on GoFundMe. Thanks to this initiative, even small contributions to Aina Clothing through GoFundMe will make a big impact!
Funds given through this campaign will be used to keep Aina up and running over the next several months. I’m truly grateful for any amount you're able to give to Aina Clothing. If you can't donate, please consider supporting in other ways, such as subscribing for newsletters, following social media, giving a share or making a purchase.
