Small legs with big hearts for UKRAINE

Donation protected
Support 6 years old Jay and Mavi 7 fundraising for Ukrainian families fleeing the war to Poland

Valeria 9, Angelika 13, Natasha 13 and Albina 16, Two weeks ago, these four girls led a very ordinary life with their families, attending school, playing with friends and days out in the park

Until one night everything changed .....

Zaporizhia, where they come from, was one of the first areas in East Ukraine affected by the war

After days in hiding, they spent five days in transit, finally arriving in Poland, where Mavi's family have welcomed them into their home in Cracow

Many stories are like this, and others are not fortunate to be homed. Families in Poland can take in more Ukrainians but are unable to afford the cost of living

A small number from our pockets was recently sent to Mavis Auntie Anna, who flew out to Poland volunteering her services as Ukrainians enter Poland. With this money, she managed to take all children photographed above out for the day to a Zoo and pizza.

It was the first time since the war that they smiled

On this Mothers Day Sunday 27th of March, Tiny legs with big hearts and their Mothers will cycle 27miles from Armley Park to Skipton

The Journey will begin at 10 am from the new Armley Playground in Armley Park

Please feel free to join us, wave us off, or along the journey of the Canal
