Hunter's Medical Fund

On Saturday, December 2nd, Hunter Jacobson was riding his dirt bike and got in a serious accident. He was immediately ground transported to Kootenai Medical Center; though his injuries are serious enough to have been transferred via Life Flight, they were unable to due to weather. At KMC, he was assessed with critical head trauma, ruptured spleen, 11 broken ribs, broken collarbone, broken scapula, and a collapsed lung. His spleen was immediately removed and then he was transferred to Sacred Heart, where they removed the left side of his skull to relieve pressure, as well as a small part of his brain. Today, he continues to be unconscious and in a state of coma, but he is stable with good vital signs. There is no estimation on the length of his coma; all he needs now is time and rest for his body to repair from this traumatic experience. 
We are writing you today, as friends of the family, in hopes that you will pray for Hunter and his family, and give in support if you feel led to do so. Hunter is covered under his dad's insurance; however, as you can imagine, there are so many more expenses that go along with this situation, especially with the unknown timing and the recovery that will come with him waking up.

Please know that you're supporting a wonderfully kind family and an insanely rad and bright young man. Hunter is the youngest of 3 boys.. His family, though obviously exhausted in all ways, remain optimistic and so hopeful. They have no involvement in setting this up, but I know if they did, they would speak volumes of thankfulness for any support you can provide.Thank you so much!
