Help Gary! A Pacific Grove Legend Needs Our Help!

Hello, PG Alumni and Community!

Remember Gary? He is a legend growing up in Pacific Grove and he needs our help right now. Gary and his roommate urgently needed a wheelchair-accessible apartment rental after their previous apartment became uninhabitable due to water damage. Gary's only remaining relative is his sister Patty, who is doing everything she can to help her brother and his roommate secure new housing options here locally. The goal is to keep Gary living independently here on the peninsula as the other option of moving Gary to a group home would be most likely out of the county and away and unfamiliar with everything that Gary knows. This option would be quite stressful for Gary and would reduce his quality of life.

How to help? Contribute to this Go Fund Me to help cover the costs of moving, rental deposit, first month's rent, and items needed such as furniture. Gary is on a limited income only collecting SSI monthly.

All funds raised will go directly to Gary's care, needs, and future living expenses.
