Bandit needs support for TPLO surgery

Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,
Meet Bandit, our lovable and spirited companion who has been a cherished member of our family since the spring of 2021. We initially welcomed Bandit into our home as a foster, but it didn't take long for us to realize that he was here to stay. Bandit, at one and a half years old, was initially timid in his new environment, but he quickly warmed up to us, becoming a foster fail and a permanent member of our family.
Life with Bandit:
Bandit has brought immense joy and laughter to our household. His favorite pastime is playing soccer, where he excels as a goalie, making it nearly impossible to score against him. Our days are filled with laughter as Bandit engages in lively games of fetch, explores new parks, and joins us on hiking adventures. His boundless energy and affectionate nature have made him an integral part of our daily lives.
Special Qualities:
What makes Bandit truly special is his idiosyncratic behavior and unique charm. Whether it's his quirky play style or the way he tilts his head when trying to understand something, Bandit never fails to bring a smile to our faces. His vibrant personality has enriched our lives in countless ways, making every moment spent with him a cherished memory.
Medical Challenges:
In the spring of 2023, we noticed Bandit limping alternately on his hind legs. After several visits to the vet, we discovered that Bandit had minor tears in both of his cruciate ligaments. We were taken by surprise, as we were unaware of the commonality of cruciate ligament tears, especially in larger dogs. Bandit underwent TPLO surgery on his right leg at Partridge Animal Hospital under the care of Dr. David A. Landers, a skilled and compassionate veterinarian.
While Bandit's right leg is healing well, he now faces the need for surgery on his left leg. Unfortunately, our current financial situation poses a significant challenge, as we've already paid out of pocket for the initial surgery and diagnostic expenses, totaling over $7,000. The second surgery is crucial for Bandit's full recovery and the restoration of his ability to lead an active, happy life.
Your Help Matters:
We are reaching out to you, our friends and fellow animal lovers, for support in raising funds for Bandit's second surgery. Your generous contributions will make a profound difference in Bandit's life, ensuring that he can once again enjoy the activities he loves without pain or discomfort.
Join Us in Making Bandit Whole and Healthy Again!
Your assistance means the world to us and to Bandit. Together, we can overcome this financial hurdle and provide Bandit with the care he needs to fully recover. Thank you for being a part of Bandit's healing journey.
Thank you, Alice & Dan (Bandit's humans)
